What Sets Us Apart

We are dedicated to serving your facility and staff as if we were employed there. Our open line of communication, advanced wound therapies and quality reporting set us apart.

Full coverage, fast response, one report.

Every Wound

Every wound we’re asked to see gets treated — from minor skin issues to advanced, complex cases.

One Report

One consolidated report — we track and report on all wounds at your facility, including those managed by outside wound clinics, podiatrists, or surgeons, so your team isn’t piecing together data from multiple sources.

24 to 48 hour

24–48h rapid-response turnaround for urgent referrals and new admissions.

Weekly

Weekly rounds, scheduled around your facility’s preferences.

The details that make a difference.

  1. Advanced Wound Therapies
While our providers recommend wound treatments available through each facility’s formulary, some cases require something beyond the basics. Our providers are trained in these advanced modalities and can help the facility decide if this is needed.
  2. Communication
All nurses and facilities are provided with the direct contact information of their providers. They can text, email, or call at any time — we welcome communication from facilities even after hours, on nights, weekends, and holidays.
  3. Flexibility
We schedule rounds based on the nursing home’s preferences and are happy to move the day and time as needed to accommodate them.
  4. Telemedicine
We offer audio-visual calls to nursing homes to evaluate patients as needed. The nurse can contact us, perform the virtual visit, and have a plan in place.
  5. Analytics and Quality Reporting
Our EMR can generate custom reports with data, graphs, and charts, as dictated by facilities, to demonstrate wound occurrence, types, anatomic distribution, and the prevalence of healing vs. worsening vs. stalled wounds.
  6. State Survey
We do not shy away when the state walks in the door. We will gladly support your facility however we can, from providing reports to meeting with the state surveyor.
  7. Education
Every time our provider enters a facility is an opportunity to teach. We provide education on rounds every week regarding current patient and treatment discussions. A formal presentation or in-service training can be provided.

From first consult to closed wound.

Rounds, scheduled around your facility

Every wound, fully assessed

Documentation, fast

Reporting your administrators can use

Fewer avoidable declines —

Rapid response within 24–48 hours on request means new and worsening wounds get seen before they become bigger clinical, and survey, problems.

Continuity of care —

The same clinicians return week over week, building the kind of familiarity with residents that a rotating outside consult can’t offer.

 Dignity in daily care —

From incontinence-related skin issues to advanced pressure injuries, care is delivered with the same bedside compassion IWC would want for its own family.

Partnering with IWC's wound care team has transformed the way we handle skin management in our facility. Having a dedicated specialist on-site every week means our residents receive expert bedside care right in their own rooms, eliminating the hassle and expense of outbound transport. Their documentation is seamless, their response time on urgent consults is immediate, and they actively train our floor staff so we stay ahead of potential breakdowns. They truly feel like a seamless extension of our own clinical team.

Give your patients the extra care they need.
