“This company provides support, equipment, education, scribe assistance and mentorship. We are compensated well. Providers are trusted to get the job done. We are given what we need, and expected to do a good job. A pretty good exchange if you ask me! It is an autonomous role – you need to be resourceful, good with customer service and have confidence. I would not recommend this position for a new provider. Being familiar with LTC, geriatrics, home health, post-acute care is very helpful. I have been offered additional hours filling in at different facilities. So far, they have been too far and there is no pressure to travel beyond what you are comfortable with. Our leaders are very responsive; there is a strong network of support for all needs and questions.
